Jane, who has over three decades of relevant experience, specialises in family mediation and family law and heads our Family Law Team working mainly on privately funded/non-legal aid cases and legal aid funded mediation settlements. She is a member of Resolution,  (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association)  and a member of the Law Society's Advanced Family Panel. Nick focuses on the buying and selling of private/domestic and commercial property. He deals with freehold and leaseholds of both a residential and commercial nature and the buying and selling of small businesses. He handles remortgages, transfers of equity and right-to-buy properties. Stephen A. Brookes,  director/solicitor,  Stoke on Trent office

Stephen is an Assessor of the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme, having been a member of the Accreditation scheme  since 1996; he has  specialised in personal injury claims for 25 years. He undertakes all aspects of personal injury law including serious injury and illness claims and injuries to children, often through no win/no fee funding. Stephen  also handles employment law and general civil litigation  cases such as possession claims by landlords and boundary and probate disputes with some clinical negligence work.  Stephen is our Compliance Officer for Legal Practice. Farah D. Gilani,  consultant solicitor,  Newcastle and Stoke on Trent offices

Farah works as a solicitor - consultant in the law as it relates to children and advises in connection with social services interventions,  child protection issues,  and child care proceedings, having exclusively practised in only child care law  in excess of 18   years. Farah is an accredited  member of the Children Panel of the Law Society. Farah is contactable through our family legal depertment and is brought in to manage social services interventions and childcare cases.  Farah can attend case conferences, meetings and court hearings in suitable cases. Pat is employed as an assistant solicitor in our private client department and handles the buying and selling of residential/domestic property, freehold and long leaseholds, including right-to-buy properties, remortgages, compulsory purchase problems and transfers of equity.
