Mediation is an area where Salmons can offer particular expertise.
With extensive knowledge of family law, and one of only a few local firms to be granted a Legal Aid Franchise, all mediation is undertaken to the Code of Practice of the Solicitors Family Law Association (SLFA).
Sessions involve bringing the couple together to resolve key issues, but at no time is either party expected to commit to anything without talking to their own solicitors first.
Since the SLFA was formed in 1982, Mediation has grown in popularity as a sensitive, efficient and cheaper alternative when a relationship breaks down.
