We have always had a strong presence as injury lawyers in the North Staffordshire area and we are now taking cases from  Shropshire, from  Cheshire and  from Derbyshire as our reputation spreads across the North Midlands.

All our cases are handled personally by our specialist solicitor Stephen Brookes who is an Assessor of the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme and he has been a panel member of the scheme since 1996. An Assessor is responsible for vetting the applications of other solicitors who wish to gain access to, or renew, their panel accreditation status.

CHILDCARE CASES AND SOCIAL SERVICES CHILD CARE INTERVENTIONS

Legal aid is generally available for this type of case if you are a parent or carer and it may not be relevant what your financial circumstances are. Our cases are handled through our Stoke or Newcastle office and case conferences and court hearings are generally dealt with by Miss Farah Gilani who is a Consultant in Child Care Law and children related  social services matters. She is also a memeber of the Law Society's Childcare Panel.

DIVORCE, FAMILY, CIVIL PARTNERSHIP,  DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CONTACT AND RESIDENCE DISPUTES

We have offered FIXED FEES for divorce cases for a number of years and we also offer MENU PRICING for family property dispute case stages. Legal aid is now severely restricted for family law disputes or disputes between parents about family property or children, unless there is an element of domestic violence. We recommend you refer to our pages on family legal aid for more details. or, you may  be interested in our Do It Yourself "DIY DIVORCE PACK", priced at  £150 * including vat which provides you with up to one hour of personal tailored advice with one of our experienced family solicitors and all the forms and guidance to  handle your own divorce. CONVEYANCING

We alter our conveyancing prices fairly frequently to ensure that we are always competitive  so we cannot publish the prices on our website.  Therefore, if you would like a conveyancing quotation, please call us or use the "contact us" page of this site.

WILLS  ESTATES AND PROBATE

We charge a  CAPPED FEE of £45O plus vat to extract the Grant of Probate and our fees for administering the estate depend on the amount involved - contact us for further information.

CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE

We offer a service funded by no win no fee arrangements but initial investigation work may have to be charged for in some cases before we agree to act under a no win no fee.

LITIGATION AND CIVIL COURT CLAIMS/INHERITANCE DISPUTES

Legal aid may still be available if you qualify and we can work to budgets, agree fee capping and  monthly payment plans.

OTHER SERVICES

For most types of legal work, we can offer you FIXED LEGAL FEES, MENU PRICING ,  FEE CAPPING, MONTHLY INSTALMENTS  and a CREDIT CARD  payment facility to really assist your budget.

DISCOUNTS -  NHS and Local Government Staff

We know that times are hard in the public sector and as a result we offer NHS and Local Government staff a 10%DISCOUNT on our standard fees up to £1000 so this can be worth up to £100. This is not in conjunction with any other offer however so you can decide what is best for you.
